Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15.07.2026

Spanda is designed to work without collecting personal data. Information you enter in the app — including cycle data, notes, and preferences — is stored only on your device. We do not operate user accounts, maintain user databases, or collect analytics data.

1. Who We Are

Spanda ("Spanda," "we," "our," or "us") is a menstrual cycle tracking app for iOS developed by Elizaveta Kovalenko.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at:

supportspanda@gmail.com

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information.

Spanda does not use user accounts, registration, analytics services, advertising networks, tracking technologies, or third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect user data.

We do not receive, store, sell, rent, share, or otherwise process information that identifies you.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

To provide its functionality, Spanda stores certain information locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage mechanisms.

This may include:

This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Health and Reproductive Information

Menstrual and reproductive health information is highly personal. Spanda stores this information exclusively on your device and does not transmit it to us or to third parties.

Because we do not receive or possess this information, we cannot disclose it to advertisers, data brokers, government authorities, or any other third party.

Spanda does not integrate with Apple HealthKit and does not read from or write to the Apple Health app.

4. Calendar Access

With your permission, Spanda can add cycle-related events to a calendar you select.

Apple Calendar

Spanda creates a separate calendar named "Cycle" and writes cycle-related events to that calendar. Information stored in Apple Calendar is subject to Apple's privacy practices.

Google Calendar

If you have connected a Google account through your device settings, Spanda can add events to a Google Calendar that you choose. Information stored in Google Calendar is subject to Google's privacy practices.

For easier management, we recommend using a dedicated calendar for Spanda events.

Spanda only writes information to the calendar you select. Calendar access can be revoked at any time through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

All purchases and subscription payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account.

We do not receive or store payment card details, billing information, or other payment-related data.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account settings or within the app.

Apple processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy policies and terms.

Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated sales and subscription statistics that do not identify individual users.

6. Deleting Your Data

Because all app data is stored locally on your device, you remain in control of your information.

You may:

Please note that calendar events previously added to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar are not automatically removed and must be deleted through the relevant calendar application.

Because we do not store personal data, there is no user account to close and no server-side data for us to delete.

7. Children

Spanda is not intended for children under the age of 13 and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may grant rights relating to personal information, including rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection to processing.

Because Spanda does not collect or store personal information, we are generally unable to provide access to, modify, export, or delete data on your behalf. Information entered into the app remains under your control on your device and can be removed at any time as described in Section 6.

Spanda does not sell personal information, share personal information for advertising purposes, or engage in cross-app tracking.

9. Security

Information stored by Spanda is protected by the security measures available on your device, including device encryption, passcodes, Face ID, and Touch ID.

We recommend enabling a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date.

Because Spanda does not transmit or store user data on remote servers, your information is not exposed to risks associated with server-side data storage.

Medical Disclaimer. Spanda is not a medical device, medical service, or contraceptive method. Cycle predictions are estimates based on the information you provide and may not be accurate. Content and recommendations within the app are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. Do not rely on Spanda to prevent or achieve pregnancy, diagnose medical conditions, or make healthcare decisions. For medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or other operational needs.

When updates are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised. Where required by law, or where changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the app.

Your continued use of Spanda after an updated version of this Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
